Gas Prices down…the Economy down…recession yet?

About 6 months to a year ago El Presidente said that we are not in a recession….I feel that the economy has skipped recession and plunged ass first into disaster. Everyone is thrilled because gas prices are quickly dropping to 3.00 a gallon as fast as they went up to 4.00 a gallon just a few months ago. Yea it is great that in theory i can afford to fill my tank but too bad none of the other prices out there are dropping so i still can’t put gas in my car. Whether or not gas is affordable it doesnt matter no one has any money. I am still waiting on that address to send my bills to so someone can bail me out…Again I dont think we ever had a recession. That step was skipped 6 months ago. Why no one stepped in then I dont know. Some congress man said that another stimulus payment would in irresponsible. Yea giving every American a check for $1.50 is not going to do anything. Part of that 700 billion dollar bail out should go to the people who need it the most not to the big corporations who got the world into this mess. (and who arent going to be penalized for anything) Like AIG who took their employees on a ka-trillion dollar retreat. Seriously?! A month ago you were about to go under and now you go on vacations. If the government is paying for vacations I want to sign up for that program and the bill paying program. Where do I sign up?!
