Congress should listen to those who know how to be poor…that will jumpstart the economy!
Ok so the Hizouse (The House of Representatives) dissed and dismissed the bailout bill….probably the smartest thing they could have done..For once the republicans are thinking with their heads…probably for purely selfish reasons….aka Its too soon to write a check for 700 billion dollars. Good call. This was introduced at the most 2 weeks ago and suddenly they are supposed to just drop 700 billion dollars…perhaps they have learned something…(probably not Palin was nominated for Vice President). Take time and figure out these things the correct way. The middle class will probably end up screwed either way. I say whats the rush. But what do i know.
Best way to jumpstart the economy and keep it from becoming a joke is to spend the 700 billion dollars on the American people. A 600 dollar stimulus check was a good idea but it came too late. People were already in debt and 600 wont help a house thats about to be forclosed. A 50,000 check would help people pay off their mortgages that are about to crash and burn, improve their credit scores AND for those of us without mortgages it would help us get ahead (student loans, etc). But whatever it would never happen let the government go ahead and stay in control and give money to crooked lenders so that one day all of us with normal credit wont even be able to get a house because hopefully this will teach big shady lenders a lesson and then we will all be effe’d.
