A Black Jew’s thoughts on life

Thus far the 2008 summer olympics have been full of scandal. Lip syncing six year olds……seriously China? This decision actually went through the ranks of the Chinese government to decide which kid was cuter! I mean every now and then an ugly six year old comes along but for the most part all six year olds are cute. Almost as cute as the women’s gymnastic team! I am not a lesbian (nothing against lesbians i love lesbians) nor am i a pedophile (they should be shot) but the Chinese women’s olympic team has to be the cutest group of gymnists I have ever seen! Now i am not saying that they are definately all under age but a few of them look REALLY young. One of them doesnt look a day over eight. The coaches for the Chinese team are insistant upon the fact that these girls are over sixteen and they have passports to prove it. O.k. if your government will call in an understudy for a six year old because she is not cute who is to say that government wont forge a few passports to bring in a few medals. Im not accusing anyone of anything…im just saying!
We also need to talk about the Spanish basketball team using their fingers to slant the corners of their eyes in a picture. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! And the sad thing is no one said, “Hey guys, Como estas….this is a bad idea.” I know in the U.S. that is just understood as not being a good idea to do but maybe its not a universally undersood rule that you should never do that. Maybe if the olympics are ever in Africa the Spanish basketball team could play in black face?! That would be a good idea. For the halftime show they could tap dance! Oy Vey!
